There are so many things to do and see on beautiful Phillip Island, so let’s go through some of the best things to do that the whole family can enjoy.
The most obvious , of course, is the beaches…Mayybeeee not so much in winter (although they’re still beautiful) but in summer, some of the most beautiful bits of coastline in Victoria can be found on Phillip Island! Take Silverleaves Beach, for instance (below).
Make sure you book tickets to what is perhaps the event of the season; the Penguin Parade (below) – this one simply can’t be missed!
Phillip Island’s famous coastline and generations-old attractions have been a beacon for local and visiting families alike. But the island is also home to several local markets, serving up the best and freshest produce grown on the island, as well as home-made knick-knacks and unique trinkets to remember your trip by.
From the beautiful waddling penguins to the calm and always blue surf, the roaming island kangaroos and the delicious treats of the chocolate factory – Phillip Island is the perfect place to take your whole family.

Maru Koala and Animal Park-
Maru is an award-winning, family-run attraction. Maru includes an animal park, which features koalas and other Australian native animals, Pirate Pete’s Mini-Golf and the Homestead Bistro. Maru is located on the Bass Highway in Grantville on the way to Phillip Island and the Penguin Parade.
There’s so much more to Maru than just animals. Set sail for 18 holes of adventure as you putt your way around the Princess Caribbean Pirate Ship. Encounter life-size pirate figures a great white shark and brave the gold mine under the five-meter thunderous waterfall.
Afterward, you can enjoy a meal or snack in the Homestead Bistro that overlooks the animal park, whilst the kids enjoy the Dinosaur Indoor Playroom.
Phillip Island Chocolate Factory
Without a doubt, the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory is the sweetest and most addictive attraction in Victoria! Everyone has to experience it at least once. Visit their website here.

The Conjurer’s Express
It is a unique ride that magically transports visitors from Magic Manor back to A Maze’N Things. It can be a baffling and disorienting journey that will leave people pondering the imponderable.
Maxi Mini-Golf
Play on the landscaped Maxi Mini Golf course, which got its name because it has 19 holes!
The course is set on artificial turf with constantly changing levels and signs. The holes are challenging, but sometimes luck is what you really need. It will entertain and challenge everyone from beginners to experienced golfers. Compete using the scorecards provided, or just enjoy some family fun, it’s up to you!
SkyTrail
Accept the challenge of Victoria’s first SkyTrail as you carefully traverse the treetops in complete safety.
The unique harness system gives you the choice of where and when to go. You can explore different elements of swinging bridges, clambering ropes, dangling obstacles and narrow bridges.
The Maze
Get lost in the giant 3D maze at AMaze’N Things! With over two kilometers of passageways, the maze is a bewildering labyrinth of twisting turns, confusing dead ends and frustrated explorer. You can spend hours trying to find your way out, but you will have a great time trying!
