Your students will enjoy a fun filled and educational Melbourne school excursion at A Maze'N Things. Available for school groups, are educationally oriented tours that explore a range of learning experiences from Years three to VCE.
Puzzle Island at A Maze’N Things is ideal for school students . The myriad of optical illusions and problem solving exercises means that students can have a hands-on experience and practical demonstrations.
For Year 11 Psychology students we have produced a number of worksheets that can be used on site. The subjects and activities covered include:
- problem solving
- mazes
- visual perception
- distance
- lateral thinking
All are designed by experienced teachers, with targeted learning outcomes in mind.
Also of particular interest is our theatre where we conduct multiple-choice challenges that will test the students in either a fun or competitive atmosphere The theatre is interactive, enabling the presenter to gain direct feedback from the students as they attempt to answer a range of multiple-choice questions. It can be conducted as a competitive or non-competitive activity, but either way, fun and interaction are heavily encouraged.
Subjects in the theatre for years 3 through 10 are graded easy, medium and hard and the categories include mathematics, general knowledge, music, sports and language. For VCE we have a special series of questions related to Psychology and the VCE unit on Visual perception.
