Farmers Market
This vibrant Farmers Market is run on the 4th Saturday of each month begining at 8.00a.m. and closing around 1.00p.m. on picturesque Churchill Island.
There are over 40 stalls all selling local produce grown and made in Gippsland.
The connection of ‘grower to consumer' fosters community spirit and an appreciation and respect for fresh clean food and the environment from which the food is produced. It also strengthens the local economy, providing greater returns to the grower and excellent value to the customer.
Farmers Markets reconcile Urban Tastes with Rural Interests.
The Churchill Island market has the added bonus of allowing people to take in the nature walks around the island once they have done their shopping.
So come along on the next 4th Saturday and sample one of the best examples of fresh Gippsland produce in the region.!
